Azerbaijan, Jordan discuss mutual investment opportunities

Baku, February 28 (AzerTAc). The delegation of Azerbaijan led by Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Jordan intergovernmental commission Shahin Mustafayev has paid a visit to Jordan.
According to the Azerbaijani embassy in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, he has met Jordanian Prime Minister Awn Khasawneh.
The Prime minister recalled his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Davos last month, and expressed pride over the fact that Azerbaijani President pays special attention to the relations with Jordan.
The sides discussed the economic cooperation and mutual investment opportunities between the two countries.
Prime Minister Khasawneh emphasized that Jordan has a favourable investment climate. He underlined the importance of development of the cultural relations. Khasawneh was briefed about Nagorno-Karabakh problem, Khojaly genocide.
Azerbaijani Minister spoke about the intergovernmental joint commission`s activity to develop economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
Industry and Trade Minister Sami Gammoh and Planning and International Cooperation Minister Jafar Hassan were present at the meeting. 
Mustafayev also met with Jordan King's Office Director Imad Fakhoury, Chief Economic Advisor of the Royal Hashemite Court Hadidi.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasly also attended the meeting.
