Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev`s 89th anniversary marked in Jordan

Baku, May 11 (AzerTAc). Jordanian capital Amman celebrated the 89th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev on Thursday.
Representatives of Azerbaijan Embassy in the country, Mayor Office of Amman, Azerbaijan- Jordan Friendship Society and the Committee of Azerbaijani Women under it planted 30 new acacias in the prospect named after Heydar Aliyev in Bader region of Amman.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli made a speech on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity stressing his irreplaceable services to the country.
Mohammed Annab, Deputy Mayor of the Greater Amman Municipality, in his turn, highlighted Azerbaijani-Jordanian bilateral relations stressing the existence of avenue named after Heydar Aliyev in Amman and street after late King Hussein in Baku.
Elman Arasli`s article called “Heydar Aliyev - the Founder of Modern Azerbaijan” has been published in Jordanian newspaper “Ad-Dustour”.
